November Wrap Up

So this month was cruisy until the last week.  My only problem is that my colleagues know I am a grinch and decided to decorate my desk with Christmas Decorations and Play Christmas Carols every day.

Come on… It’s not December yet.  Other than that, I enjoyed this month.  Not much happened so onto what I read…

Queen of Shadows, Throne of Glass #5 by Sarah J. Maas

Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas

Pages:  689
Genre:  Fantasy and Romance
Format:  Book

This book is great, actually the whole series is.  The best part I think are the witch parts.

Tower of Dawn, Throne of Glass #6 by Sarah J. Maas

Towe of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

Pages:  664
Genre:  Fantasy and Romance
Format:  Book

Ok, so I didn’t think I would like this because the last book left it on a cliff hanger and then there was no resolution until the next book because it was all about Chaol and Nesryn.  Surprisingly I actually loved this even though it has nothing to do with Aelin.

The Road Back To You:  An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile

Genre:  Christian, Business and Self-Help
Format: Book

So I have to read this for work.  I actually hate the author and how he writes this.  But I found it quite insightful about Enneagram numbers.  I am a 1, a perfectionist and that was very interesting to learn about.  It was also great to learn about other peoples numbers and it actually helps in a team environment.

Kingdom of Ash, Throne of Glass #7 by Sarah J. Maas

star-1991908_1920star-1991908_1920star-1991908_1920star-1991908_1920star-1991908_1920

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

Pages:  984

Format:  Book

So this was epic.  I loved this book so much and the ending.  I can’t say much more because it will ruin it.

One Piece Vol 1 by Eiichiro Oda

One Piece Vol 1 by Eiichiro Oda

Pages:  210
Genre:  Manga, Adventure and Fantasy

This book was hilarious.  I loved every second of it.  Especially the beginning where you see Luffy becomes a pirate.  To be honest the whole books was hilarious.

Coral by Sara Ella

Pages:  384
Genre:  Contemporary, Fantasy (Almost)
Format:  Audiobook

Ok this book is a mess and I really didn’t enjoy it.  I have a review in progress, so I think I will tell you there what I really think about it.

The Assassin’s Blade, Throne Of Glass #0 by Sarah J. Maas

This book makes the rest of the series make so much sense now.  I loved this so much seeing how Celaena becomes who she is and how she ends up in Endovier.  Also Sam’s story makes so much sense now.

Mansfield Park by Jane Austen

Pages:  507
Genre:  Romance and Classic
Format: Audiobook

I love Jane Austen books, but to be honest I didn’t find this one as great as the others.  I kind of got bored.  I did love the romance in this book.  But one of the problems I had with this book was that the last little bit just suddenly had a million things happen and I just couldn’t keep up.

The Wide Window, A Series of Unfortunate Events #3 by Lemony Snickett

The Wide Window by Lemony Snickett

Pages:  214
Genre:  Fantasy and Children’s

This is just how I remember, quick and witty.  I love this story.  I am slowly re-reading them alongside the netflix tv series, just to see how different it is.  I have yet to see the episodes though.

Wow what a month.  Now I am planning on posting almost every day this next month as a test to see how well I can write on the fly.  Also there are just so many posts I want to do.

I have so many books I want to read before the end of the year.  How am I going to get the time to read them all.  What books do you still need to read by the end of the year?
